    Pandora Radio:

    Pros:

    >Free

    >Does a good job of picking out good songs... most of the time.

    >You can thumb-down songs so that they never play again.

    >You can thumb-up songs so that they play more often.

    >You can preview songs.

    >High quality streams

    >You can make a radio "playlist" to separate your relaxation music from your exercise/gaming music.

    Cons:

    >You can only listen to 40 hours a month for free.

    >They recently added 30-second audio ads every now and then.

    >Sometimes the variety decreases drastically.

    >You cannot re-play or re-wind songs.

    >After 1 hour of inactivity, Pandora will automatically pause (which can be considered a good thing if you aren't listening to it and don't want your hours to run out).

    Alternate site: GrooveShark:

    Pros:

    >Free for unlimited hours.

    >You can search for, re-wind, and re-play songs.

    >No audio ads.

    >You can make a playlist consisting of songs that you choose.

    >You can click on the "radio" option if you want to listen to more songs.

    Cons:

    >Not as good quality as Pandora (on certain songs).

    >The "thumb up/down" function does not work as well on this site as it does on Pandora, since there are alternate versions of songs that can play.

    >The "radio" seems to play a lot of Black Eyed Peas (which may be a good thing, but I personally don't like their music).

Those are the two music sites that I use the most. I obviously prefer Pandora, but once the 40 hours runs out, I'm forced to listen to GrooveShark (which isn't that bad of an alternative).

After listening for a bit, a box pops up and asks me for my email and cuts out the audio. Even when I put in my email, I cannot get Pandora back unless I close Firefox and start all over. Disappointed. It was a really great station. I loved it.
