Finding speech recognition on Windows Xp with Office 2007?

I have an XP system with Office 2007 installed. I want to use the speech recognition to type my articles from speak. I can not find it on the machine. How would I find it, if it's truly on here. If I can not find it any free simple speech to text software out there?

Go to Start->Programs->Accessories->Ease of Access->Windows Speech Recognition...

Plug in your mike and then test it....

Once done... you can open a word document and start speaking anything you want... Its not very precise though, but works this way !!!

Note... tried long back... am not very sure right now

Well, what you can do is to upgrade to Windows 7. Windows 7 has an excellent voice dictation feature built in -- no extra software needed. But yes, if you want something a little bit more professional you can buy Dragon Naturally Speaking.
