Hey , i can help you out! I've been developing E-Commerce web sites for months now. You may email me Spyhunter252@hotmail.com if you need help along with this project.
Now let me help you choose a great webhost.!
Well , there is hostgator , google host yahoo and godaddy.
But the most recommended and best web host so far is www.NetworkJuiceHosting.com ; Network Juice.
They now offer plans starting around $0.99/mo for a great amount of diskspace plus everything else unlimited. Plus they've manage to keep up 99% Uptime. But , this package is not recommended for an e commerce site. They have other deals
They have all features such as PHP5, java ,Cpanel , Fantastico ( allows you to auto install Blogging systems and CMS portals without wasting time) , Cron Job , Apache ,Unlimited Dadabase , ftp accounts and much more. Basically EVERYTHING! is supported.
There are other affordable plans as well in NetworkJuiceHosting.com.
Hostgator.com is also a great host , but there Uptime time is not so good. Also , customer service is very poor , Not to many features are supported.
Google.com not so sure , But i know there's lots of files they do not support , no Cpanel , and i don't know how come , but they have been receiving downtimes lately in their host servers.
yahoo , let me just say it's the worst web host ever ,you can't even host the amount of domains you want to host . Including FatCow.com. The downtime is way to much , and many files are un-compatible in fatcow for some reason.
To buy a domain , the most recommended site is godaddy , but not for it's hosting!! I Tell you !!!.
For a Great Affordable web host with maximum features , the most recommended web host is www.NetworkJuiceHosting.com . ; Network Juice Hosting.
You are getting your answers from an expert , and yes I have tried all these web host.
That's all I got to say mate ;)Source(s): www.ask.com

You can consider Aspiration Hosting. They support magento e-commerce and uses litespeed+apache web server. Prices quite reasonable as well. The customer service response is quite fast and helpful.
Ps: I'm just their client using their shared hosting plan, not affiliated in any other way. Plus their servers are quite fast.Source(s): My site that is hosted on aspiration hosting: http://greendatacenter.asia/
$39.99 a month is not a good offer at all. If you are starting out you will only need a shared web host. I recommend you go with FatCow as I use them for my ecommerce website and I am very satisfied with their support and reliability. Just make sure to use a coupon when ordering to save money. You can get fatcow coupons here:

I suggest you look for bundled internet services to help reduce your overall online business expenses. GVO could be your best value $1 trial allows you to evaluate before you buy.Source(s): F.Gant One stop shopping explored http://ezinearticles.com/?id=2940874 Web design and more http://eca.sh/uvNF

That's an interesting question
Yahoo costs too much. GoDaddy is too cheap, they have way too many customers and lackluster tech support. Get someone in between.
