If modern Christianity has nothing to do with medieval Christian atrocities, then how do you explain this?
we always hear the 'real' Christians or 'modern' Christians wouldn't do this... yet it seems to keep happening over and over and over.
Do not incidents like this demonstrate a serious core problem with even the desire to inflict a Christian world-view upon everyone?
Individuals can and should believe what they want. But when institutions form to push a set of beliefs onto others, isn't this inevitable?
