White or red wine with Hamburger Helper?

Entertaining guests later this evening and not sure which wine to serve.

It really doesn't matter. I know I would never give a beep beep about what you were serving as long as I was drinking for free!

Source(s): I'm gonna drink some cherry wine tonight, with my cup o noodles, and canned mystery meat.

Depends on the kind of hamburger helper, though a lighter red wine would probably best to offset the beef and the saltiness, a cheap merlot or gamay should work great.

Hamburger helper involves hamburger most of the time right? If so(since I've never had it) I'd suggest red wine....probably a merlot or a syrah

When my husband and I were starting out, we ate a lot of Hamburger and Chicken Helper. I always thought it went well with a nice, cold Bud Light!
