Depression is an awful feeling, I have been there myself. For some people something happens in their life to trigger off depression and unfortunately for others its just how they feel most of the time without any reason for it. Try and find the core reason why you are feeling down and maybe see if there is something you can do to change it. Try going on holiday once a year somewhere different each time or somewhere you really enjoy going. Do more over the weekends, whether it be gardening, going to the cinema, restaurants, whatever you enjoy doing. Maybe try and have a hobby, model building, dog walking etc. Pills aren't the answer, I think the only thing that can help depression is the person going through it, only they can make the difference. People can advise, support and be there, but at the end of the day, only YOU can make the difference. All the best to you and I really hope there is light for you at the end of the tunnel.
