According to a new report, the number of homeless Obama supporters sleeping in New York City shelters has reached an all time high at 39,000 -- many of them unemployed 20 something liberals.

Using New York City's own data, a homeless group claims a record number of Obama supporters are in city shelters, (particularly 20-25 year old liberals classified as "children" for SCHIP purposes) despite years of failed Democrat policies and programs that were supposed to bring homeless numbers down. But perhaps the best way to understand this is to listen to a disillusioned Obama voter trying to hold her family together.

Most of us helplessly walk the streets of the city thinking about Obama's recession, the high unemployment, and how our grandchildren will pay for all the liberal spending, wondering "Where is Obama when I need him? Why hasn't he paid my mortgage and car payment?"

Mary Brosnahan, longtime executive director of the Coalition for the Homeless used the city's own data, and says homelessness has been increasing each month since Obama was voted inand is currently at an all-time high. At the end of September, 10,494 homeless unwashed liberals lived in shelters.

"What does that mean for those "children", and their future? That they will spend a substantial amount of their college years… in a homeless shelter?" asked Bill de Blasio, the chairman of the City Council General Welfare Committee.
"It's a real pity" lamented Blasio as he kicked up his feet on his desk and sipped his Starbuck double mocha latte, " A real shame!"
