i used to read these really good vampire books that had my attention from start to finish an i wasted all my money on the series :)

the first book is called "Glass Houses: The MorganVille Vampires-Book One" by Rachel Caine.

it has like four books i think, i havent read the series for about two years now, but they were really good.

it was about this girl, Claire. Shes in college in a wierd town and needs a place to stay instead of her dorm room where this one little "miss Im all that" beeotch gives her trouble. she goes on to find a house with three other cool people an she eventually stays there. but they have a secret; and so does the wierd creepy town.

Claires room mates may show not many signs of life; but they'll have her back when the towns deepest secrets come crawling out, hungry for fresh blood.....

    ha hopedd thatt helpedd ;)

The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova would be my first choice. If you are into history you would really like this one.

2nd would be The Sookie Stackhouse Novels by Charlaine Harris.

There is one, I'm not sure what it's called, but I believe it's by Scott Westerfeld...If you can't find it I will look at my library records and get the title for you. it is about the opposite of Twilight.
