Brian Wilson's darkest songs?
I recently accidently came across the Beach Boy's album, 'Surf's Up'. I was stunned. Simply one of the best albums I've ever heard, and I'm not really a big fan of their earlier, more poppy work.
I'd like to know if any Brian Wilson/Beach Boy's fans can point me in the direction of any other work which delves into the more darker, melancholic side of Wilson's writing?
Thanks

Maybe it's because the beach boys were friends with the Manson Family and experimented with the occult themselves. It was widely known amongst his close friends that many of Mr. Wilsons songs were given to him by "voices".
