I'm a Deli Clerk for Dominick's, I was wondering if my manager can change my schedule without my permission?

yesterday (Friday) when I checked my schedule, I had tomorrow (Sunday) off and now today I apparently have to work...because someone else is going to be sick...

I'm pretty sure this violates some Union Rules...unfortunately, I do not have any Meat Cutters Union info...and I've been searching...so any help there would be appreciated

Ask your steward, he or she will tell you.

Your a contracted employee. Your manager can change your hours anytime they wish unless your a minor attending school then their are minor employment laws.

Your S.O.L. You can always terminate your employment if you disagree with it. Just how it is.
