What in your opinion is the best beer to drink when eating a steak?

    What brand label beer to choose I leave to you. I recommend a range of styles for your selection process. Pale ales to brown ales to softer porters all work well with beef dishes. If the meat is heavy with American-style barbecue sauce the brown ale or porter is better. If grilled but plain the pale ale or brown ale is best. These are the generalities and you can start from here with confidence.

    I don't think a wheat beer pairs well with beef because it will be lost in the heavy rich beef flavor. But individual tastes do vary so...

    If you want beer to the steak then i would recommend a Hefe Weizen beer.

    I myself prefer a nice red wine, like a good Merlot or Shiraz, but that was not your question
