How do I convert my GPA from a 5.0 scale to a 4.0 scale?
I live in Texas and at my high school we go by a 5.0 grade scale.
I'm taking majority of AP and advanced classes so my GPA is 5.34.
How would that relate on a 4.0 scale?
Is it just a 4.34, or do my advanced classes not count, or what?

A 5.0 scale unweighted can be converted to a 4.0 unweighted, but you can't directly convert a weighted GPA to an unweighted GPA because it depends on how many weighted classes you took and how they were weighted. You're going to have to go back to your transcript, change every 5.0 weighted grade to a 4.0 unweighted grade, and recalculate your GPA. 4.0 scale means unweighted.

4.34/5.0 = x/4.0
x=3.47 thats good
