When's the last time Canada fought a war? 1812?

Why do terrorists target America far more than Canada?

They are both free nations that promote peace and anti-terrorism.

What is it about America that makes them a nation of war instead of a nation of peace like Canada?

    1) Canada is fighting right beside us in Iraq and Afghanistan. Thank you to all of our canadian men and women in harm's way.

    2) We are not a nation of war. We were physically attacked!!! Do you remember 9/11? We had to do something. I was in Canada 2 days before it happened. ( I might give you the Iraq thing. That shouldn't have happened) We are in Afghanistan because of 9/11.

    3) I think we get targeted because when someone needs our help we go help them. You are bound to make enemies that way. We are also obligated to help some countries like the ones in NATO. We have signed treaties with many countries.

Let's say that country A is fighting country B. Country A needs our help. We go in and kick country B's butt. Country B gets angry and call in their buddies countries C and D and plots against us. They attack. Do we just sit there and take it? Heck NO!!!!

We don't just provide help war wise. We also send money , food , and supplies to other countries to help them out. I don't know what Canada does but we assist in many aspects of world relations. We help in times of natural disasters too like the tsunami's and earthquakes abroad.

The Hurricaine Katrina thing got messed up on the local and state level not the federal level. People in the midwest get flooded out all the time and don't blame the President. They lose their whole crops, their homes and towns. (Just in case you were thinking that)

Canadians fought in both World Wars, Korea, Iran, and Afghanistan. Canada is a far more socialist nation than the US, therefor, the terrorists give it more of a pass.

Why do you call America a "nation of war"? Name a single war the US has started. American military go in and fight, too often die, to defend every two-bit hole and what comes back for it? Just another country that sticks its hand out to demand MORE MORE MORE. If the US was a conquering force you might have a complaint.
