Microsoft on apple computers?

I have a powerpoint that I have made on my dell computer with Microsoft Office Powerpoint 2007. This powerpoint has to be able to work on a mac computer but when I tried to play it, it had no text on there, and everything was out of proportion and it didn't play at all, how do I fix this?

Computers R Simple.com on Yahoo Answers, will be able to help you with this issue.

The Simple answer: Your saving the powerpoint presentation as a Microsoft Office 2007 version, which is fine, BUT you need to make sure your Mac is running Microsoft Office 2008 (yes 2008 is for Mac). Also make sure MS Office 2008 for Mac it's up to date!! VERY IMPORTANT. On the Mac, look at the top right hand corner (search bar), type Microsoft Office and it should bring up a "updater". If not go to Apple>System Preference and you should see it their. Also you can go to: http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/8/5/98577... ....AKA MACTOPIA ..for the latest MS Office 2008 for Mac updates

One more thing: On Microsoft Office 2007 (windows), when you save the slide presentation go Save As (top left button). You should see a option to save it to Microsoft Office PowerPoint 97-2003. If your MS Office updates for Mac didn't solve it..this should.

Well you have to do the powerpoint on Mac to send it to another Mac computer. Apple is a completely different type so there is nothing you can do.

try and find something to convert it, so the powerpoint can work on whichever microsoft office year you are using.
