HELP NEEDED! Scientific questions which could possibly turn into science fair project?
I am having so much trouble thinking of a science fair project. I'm a junior in Pre-AP chemistry. The project of course needs to be original and complex. I myself am interested in behavioral and social sciences, environmental science, as well as medicine and health, but am also open-minded about any other category. Please just throw some questions out there and maybe help give me a kick start. The sooner the better! I need my topic approved by tomorrow morning.

Make a volcano with vinegar and baking soda.
If your work is original, it is either completely wrong or you've come across a scientific discovery. So everyone's project should be equal because, in truth, they are not original or they aren't correct. If you do a volcano, it is as good as anyone else's as long as you meet all requirements. I hate schools.

I will give you one. My mother was a ninth grade science teacher and one of her students won a high state award for his science fair project in 1961. I was only in elementary school but went to the fair and he built a working fuel cell using beakers and tubes. There must have been an ammeter to prove current flow but I was very young and do not remember much more than that.

To answer all your questions.. Do a study on birth control methods in various places.. You can challenge the chemical makeup of the drug as well as the social implications of it's use.. You can do an environmental study on the impact of population, (china). Your project can also include stats from the world health org on aids and birth rates.

right here is the 1st rule of technological information honest shows: be certain what question or subject you want to remedy, and then build the answer to that. For the slingshot you geared up, the question would desire to be, "How might you launch a marshmallow over the incredible of a milk jug?"
