What are the names of these statues/architectures in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico?
I'm looking for the names of these two things found in Old San Juan, PR
I was just there a few weeks ago and forgot the name(s) of these.
The first one is the giant (like 15' tall) spike-things on the outside of the wall by where the coast is. If I find a link for this I'll post it..if someone else finds one, please post it!
The other is the statue in this link:

The staue in the photo is of Eugenio Maria de Hostos. He is famous in Puerto Rico & latin America. In PR we have a holiday for him. He was an advocate for Independence in Puerto Rico and an educator in many countries. I am not really sure what the statue depicts exactly but maybe it has something to do with independence or him helping others..
Oh and the first one, do you mean this?
Plaza del Totem is supposed to represent an indian totem pole.
