Corruption among the aristocrats. The nobles class were killing each other to rule the empire. Many kings changed during the last years of Sassanian Era and finally it was conquered by Arabs.

If you mean the Persian Empire of the 4rth century BCE, it was comquered by Alexander the Great. If you mean the later Sassanian Persian Empire, it was overrun by the Arabs or muslims in the seventh century CE.
