    What are their characteristics?

    Most people will choose monocrystalline panels due to their ready availability. Because they’re made from just one crystal, not multiple crystals fused together, the process of making them is very complex and costly . However, it has additional efficiency, And it occupies less space. It lasts for twenty-five years to more than fifty. These panels are extremely fragile.

The non-silicon materials can also be printed on flexible or light substances, which can create new applications for solar. But thin films, aren’t yet as efficient as silicon-based solar, and can remain pricey due to their high production costs.
