Why did Obama tell the IOC that he "finally found a home in Chicago"?

During Obama's plea to the IOC he told them that he finally found a home when he went to Chicago. Did he say that because Chicago is ground zero for radicals? (Ayers, Wright, Farrakhan, New Black Panther Party, ACORN, etc)

Because he thinks people care. The boy will find out one day that life is not about him nor he is the center of the universe. The IOC is trying to help him come to that realization.

He said that because it was true. There are many things to be proud about Chicago, it is a great American city.

Obama should be ASHAMED that he said he found a home in Chicago. This is a typical liberal communist.

Your theory seems likely and is not absurdly ridiculous at all.
