From your list, I think I like Harrison Ford and Morgan Freeman the most.

Among my favorite presidential portrayals are:

Beau Bridges in "10.5" and "10.5: Apocalypse" (TV miniseries)~Wow! Did HE ever have stuff to deal with, including the continent being split in two!

Christopher Jones as the youngest, handsomest president ever in "Wild in the Streets"

Ralph Bellamy as Franklin D. Roosevelt in "Sunrise at Campobello"

Brian Keith as Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt in "The Wind and the Lion"

Dennis Weaver as Abraham Lincoln in "The Great Man's Whiskers"

Donald Moffat as Lyndon B. Johnson in "The Right Stuff"

Henry Fonda as Abraham Lincoln in "Young Mr. Lincoln"

Alexander Knox as Woodrow Wilson in "Wilson"

Raymond Massey in "Abe Lincoln in Illinois"

James Earl Jones in "The Man"

I'm an Illinoisan, so we're partial to Lincoln.

I have been here for some of your time now, 43 of your years to be exact. I appear no different to anyone. I converse with you now. However, I do not consider myself to be an alien in the way that many think aliens to be. If you were to look upon me you would recognize me as being one of you. Yes, there is a possibility that there are more like myself who are also like yourself...the only difference being when and where we were created.

Personally I likeed Bill Pullman in ID4. Sure, he was young but they acknowledged that in the movie, plus that speech at the end was one of the greatest of all time.

From your list, I'd pick James Cromwell. I'd also nominate Anthony Hopkins in "Nixon".
