it is better to write to make a point than it is to die to make a point.

  • A scholar can evoke beliefs, thoughts and creed can lead to thousands of martyrdom. Both martyrs and scholars look for higher purpose for human being but the their area of influence are different?!

Someone who dies to make a point will be forgotten sooner than a scholar who contributes his thoughts through writing

This means that what people write will last longer than the people who died for whatever the cause was. For example, no one knows the names of the people who died in WWII, but everyone knows about L'Apel du 18 Juin.

Even if you die for a worthy cause, you won't be remembered long. Written text, however, lasts forever.
