how do i remove the password from my mac?

my laptop used to be my brother's and he had a password so that everytime he logged in he had to put it in. and i know the password but i hate having to put it in when i turn it on so how do i remove it?

    the password is stored inside the processor. just take it out with a soldering iron, wait 30 seconds, and then put it back. you'll have to resolder very carefully.

    Click on the Apple at the top-left corner of the screen. Then go to "System Preferences". There, under System, you'll see "Accounts". Click on it and you can change the password to each user, or even just add your own account.
