Because people alway at summer time turn on air-conditioner,people factories produce too much smoke/the traffic produces too many smoke, factories produce waste water and oil/people throw rubbish in the sea, factories produce too much rubbish/people throw away too much rubbish and the traffic makes too much noise/roadworks make too much noise.
Hong Kong has been facing two air pollution issues. One is local street-level pollution. The other is the regional smog problem. Diesel vehicles are the main source of street-level pollution. Smog, however, is caused by a combination of pollutants from motor vehicles, industry and power plants both in Hong Kong and in the Pearl River Delta region.Source(s): ME﹑WEB
