Jose Manuel Sanchez on September 14, 1887. One evening after a meal of highly charged bean burritos, he blasted off and shorty there after and arrived on the Moon. Unfortunately, he lacked the boost needed to return to Earth.

    First Mexican In Space

No Mexican yet has been to the Moon but Rodolfo Neri was the first Mexican astronaut to go into outer space for NASA. He spent seven days in outer space aboard space shuttle Atlantis, carrying out multiple experiments and placing in orbit the Mexican satellite Morelos 2.

The only people who've walked on the Moon were all white, native-born US citizens--not a highly diverse bunch. Mexicans have been in space, though--but in orbit, not to the Moon.

He takes me to the moon at least once a week...

The landings always give me a headache for some odd reason?

Senor Baegoatis is the first Mexican to set foot on the moon, only he landed on the dark side so nobody saw him swiping the hubcaps off the lunar lander. When he returns to Earth he kept them as a souvenir for his familia because he was only borrowed them.
