Are companies such as Procter & Gamble Legit if they ask for your email id & password?

there are alot of different kind of sites that do this. Is this safe or are these imposter sites? They say you have to do this to "log in"?

    if you have to sign up use your email, but a different password, P&G exist, but thats not to say the site you are on is legit.

    Lots of sites require an Email ID and password to sign in but a legit site will NEVER ask for a password in an Email.
