Is Israel the most powerful Middle Eastern country?
Just want to know. I have always seen Israel as some war-torn and pretty unpowerful nation, but current events seem to say otherwise. Are they the most powerful nation in the middle east? I am just curious how a rather tiny nation can dominant the other larger Muslim neighbors.

Israel may have a tiny landmass, but is militarily and economically powerful. Don't listen to the myths about Israel existing only due to so-called American support. During the 6-day war, America (among other countries) imposed an arms-embargo on Israel, while Arabs received arms and aid from the Soviet Union. A significant portion of US aid is tied in contracts for US weaponry. The US also provides extensive aid to Jordan and Egypt. Regardless- total american aid in all forms today amounts to about 3.5% of Israel's annual budget. It would hardly amount to the country's downfall if that aid were to disappear.

Yes. They are one of the smallest, but most powerful. They're military is unmatched by any other Middle Eastern country except Egypt, and that's in Africa, so does it count?
They have access to nuclear weapons. They partake in a clever system of democratic capitalist-socialism that takes care of the poor and allows people to take control of their lives. It is much like America, except it is mostly Jewish and Muslim, and terrorists are attacking it from all sides.
If Iran were to make a wrong move, they would be able to crush Ahmadinijad.

Israel is the most powerful per capita but Turkey's bigger and has just as much US technology. They just have been pretty insular since the fall of the Ottoman Empire.

Define powerful-knock out their water supply and Israel is finished. They are experiencing the worst FRESH water shortage ever. Israel can not knock out all the Arab countryies's water supply they simply shift the support.Their water acquifiers exist in Israelie occupied Arab West Bank and Gaza strips. Israel is ILLEGALLY siphoning water from Lebanon's Litani river. The US provides Israel with 6 BILLION a year in FREE money(FORGIVEN LOANS). In the SIX DAY WAR, Israel ATTACKED her peaceful neighbors while they ate breafast on the ground in a SNEAK attack-Israel loves to called this aggressive attack a PREEMPTIVE strike to justify it.To put this in perspective, much like a robber stabbing you in the back and stealing your wallet.
"On June 5, 1967, Israel was indeed alone, but its military commanders had conceived a brilliant war strategy. *****The entire Israeli Air Force, with the exception of just 12 fighters assigned to defend Israeli air space, took off at 7:14 a.m. with the intent of bombing Egyptian airfields while the Egyptian pilots were eating breakfast.***** In less than 2 hours, roughly 300 Egyptian aircraft were destroyed. A few hours later, Israeli fighters attacked the Jordanian and Syrian air forces, as well as one airfield in Iraq. By the end of the first day, nearly the entire Egyptian and Jordanian air forces, and half the Syrians’, had been destroyed on the ground.":
The Arabs NOW have the world's most sophisticated satellite system Arab Sat as well as Egypt being as well armed as Israel, except for nukes. Israel is NOT likely to get another SNEAK/PREEMPTIVE strike.

No they are not Syria and Egypt are much more powerful that Israel. Israelis have access to American technology, while the muslims have oil money to buy technology.

Israel has the strongest military that US taxpayers could afford
we support them diplomatically, and militarily
so when they took over all of Palestine and occupied it, the rest of the Arab countries fought back, and Israel, with US money military and support crushed them
THATS WHY THEY HATE US

You could add all the Arab countries together and Israel could beat them.
Hmmm, sounds like all their recent wars...
