1.732 x volts x amps x PF = watts?
Do you use 230 volts or 120 volts?
Do you use the amps on one phase or the total of all three?

*1.732 x volts x amps x PF = watts is for 3-phase circuit.
The horsepower rating of three-phase motors and the KVA (kilo-voltamp) rating of three-phase transformers is about 150% greater than
for single-phase motors or transformers with a similar frame size.
