how to make fake virus(prank)?

my friend made a fake virus one time and all it did was just scan all of the files repeatedly. i just want to know how he did it.

There are websites that will let you download fake viruses. It actually needs a good programmer to write a virus.

Your talking about batch files, something you could make in notepad, search youtube for "Batch file prank virus"
