What is the best type of paper for a child to paint on that will allow the art work to last indefinitely?

I am having children paint and/or color with crayons on paper that I will then adhere to the wall and seal over to make it appear like wallpaper. Any suggestions?

If you want it to last indefinitely, I would not use paper. There is a product that Cheap Joe's sells called Yupo. Daniel Smith also sells it.

Yupo is a synthetic 'paper' that many watercolor artists are using for their art. It is acid free and because it is synthetic, unless it is placed in direct sunlight, should last (almost) forever. It is a bit more pricey than paper, but you wanted indefinitely.

Check out a paper that is acid free or has high rag ( cotton ) content.

You may want to check this site www.cheapjoes.com

I buy most of my art supplies from them.
