Where can I buy a bag for school?

I am not talking about a bookbag, because you aren't allowed to take it around in the hallways. I mean kinda like a purse. Kind of like those hollister bags but something a little nicer then those, cuz i don't like them. I don't want to get anything expensive. But I want a good selection. What are some good stores??
