In the tropics where i live, there are around 270 days in a year with thunderstorms! And... If you look at the 10 day forecast.... it's not gonna be sunny 2day, rainy 2morrow, and cloudy the day after but... an entire row of scattered thunderstorms... which gets kinda boring.....

I couldn't actually tell you that they would be recurrent, but it is most likely that in the tropics, you would get most of the thunderstorms. Once I heard that if you have a beautiful day somewhere, the chances are that not further than 100 km away, you are having cats and dogs pouring down.

Electrical thunderstorms are very common here in the tropics, and we are getting them almost every single day in the afternoons.

In the tropics during the wet seasons; and they are so regular you can set your clocks to them.
