How do i know if i have a hernia or a swollen lymph node?

There is a lump in my groin that hurts when i push it and sometimes when i walk on it.

Could be a lymph node. Usually they appear where there is some source of infection, like a cut or a boil. If you have the lump for more than 2 weeks or more swollen glands appear elsewhere on your body, go see a doctor.

If it is excruciating, or you can push it back up into your body, it could be a hernia. Go see a doctor.
