When you go to GTS in Pokemon Diamond, does it also connect with Pearl? or only other people with Diamond.?

When you use the GTS service in Pokemon Diamond / Pearl / Platinum, you connect the server specifically designed to handle the trades. While you have to see the pokemon before you can trade for it on the GTS, it can be used to pick up pokemon that are exclusive to the other versions (Pearl & Platinum in your case).
