Pre Calculus questions (simple)?

why do all the lines on an exponential graph meet at the point (0,1)?

    e^0 = 1

    i am not sure what you mean by all the lines on a exponential graph because alot exponential functions do not pass through (0,1).

    for example f(x)=e^x does pass through 0,1

    but f(x)=e^(x-2) does not *** through 0,1
