if a substance is known to enter a cell by diffusion what effect would raising the temperature have on the Cell

Raising the temperature inside the cell means more of a substance could dissolve inside the cell so it's likely more of the substance would enter the cell.

it would become easier for a substance to enter the cell, so more of that substance would likely enter the cell than when it was cooler.Source(s): life science, bio, and now in ap bio.
