what are some good careers in chemistry?

i want to major in chemistry...im currently going to college

but i dont really know what kind of career i could make out of it

besides engineering and teaching

Chemists are utilized all over the world.

There are jobs in the following:

Oil and Energy Companies (ie. Chevron, Shell, Exxon)

Pesticides (Either for the government for regulation or for creation)

Chemical/Materials companies (ie. Dupont, 3M, etc)

Soil/Environment Testing (EPA, State/Government related)

There are a lot more depending on your specialties. A Chemical Engineering degree is better for just a BS. If you get a higher degree, Chemistry is very useful to find jobs.
