im doing a project on cells

more specificly the mitcondria

the question is : Are there any special applications of this organelle to specific Tissue types..

?

i think that means like muscle cells. please leave a website for me to reaserch please y our insight

    no. mitochondria in all cells (including plants and animals) have one and only one function ie to produce energy. after glycolysis, the pyruvate enters the mitochondria to breakdown to give more ATP.

    it is just that muscle cells have more mitochondrias than other cells because they require more energy than other cells
