Help with my math homework?
i have to find the lcm and i do not understand it!
the directions say Find the LCM of each set of numbers or algebraic expressions.
i dont get it though. these are the problems
1. 4,6
2. 6,9
3. 21,9
4. 20,25
5. 4x,3x
6. 3c by the 2nd power,7c
7. 16w2nd power, 72
8. 4f,10ft by 2nd power, 12ft by 2nd power
i do not understand!!

LCM is least common multiple, which is the lowest number they have in common.
1. 4,6. Both go into 24, but the LCM would be 12
2. 6,9 LCM = 18
3. 21,9 LCM=63
etc
