Should Christians stop claiming their religion is the truth when they haven’t provided any evidence?

Update:

Scientists have lots of evidence. In fact, the science revolves around evidence; evidence is the foundation upon science is built. Can't say the same for Christianity or any other religion, huh...

If your premise "they haven’t provided any evidence" were true then the answer would be "yes".

    Here's some evidence for you.

If it could be shown to you through solid and persuasive evidence that God created the universe and everything in it, would you believe it?

Featuring an impressive cast of world-class scientists and scholars, Foolish Faith exposes the failure of mainstream science to answer the ever-present question of where we came from — unveiling a surprising store of controversial facts that support the existence of God, but are largely ignored by the media.

Beginning with a fast-paced trail through the origins of the world’s major religions, followed by a provoking pursuit through the reasoning of modern science, this book’s easy-to-understand arguments will bring you face-to-face with seven tremendous facts that will propel you to rediscover the truth about God’s place in the world today

No I don't think they should or ever will stop claiming that their god is mightier than any other. Other religions think the same thing about their gods but christians tend to be a lot more pushy than others. Look at muslim extremists that kill in the name of their god. I know not all Muslims are doing this but I'm only giving an example of people thinking their religion is the all mighty truth. Other religious people that are non christians think that christians are ridiculous for what they belive. So everyone thinks their right and nothing will ever change that. I think what I'm writing is the truth but I may just be wrong.

When it comes to matters where the idea of evidence is relevant, like creation v. evolution, yeah, I think they should let it go.

When it comes to matters science can't address (at least yet) such as what it means to be a good person or what happens after you die, I think they can believe whatever they want - as long as they don't go around oppressing others with different, and equally unprovable views =)

atheists have no proof that there isnt a God... So should you stop claiming that there isnt?

Could you actually provide this evidence? Because if science ever proves that there isnt a God and their evidence is flawless I am sure everyone will hear about it and it will be one of the biggest events in history. That has not happened

There is enough divine evidence for those of good will.

It's all about the good will or bad will.

The universe does not contain enough evidence for atheists.

There will never be enough evidence for atheists with bad will.

As hard as it is for most to understand, Truth does not lie exclusively in evidence. Nor does it exist exclusively in scripture either.

Truth, absolute truth, still lies beyond the means of the human mind's ability to absorb all that Truth contains. However those who cannot conform to religion (and nor should any one feel it necessary to) beware what you call your knowledge, reason and logic. They too betray you when used exclusively.

The Truth always lies in between.

No..what are the questions the christians you've asked haven't provided answers for..Some people just don't understand their faith..And some answers are not able to be answered. Also, their is more evidence to prove God's existence than any other religion in the world. Why don't you look into it.

They can believe it to be true, but there isn't evidence for any religion. I don't think this is going to stop anybody though,
