Is 6800 pF = 6.8 X 10^-3 uF?
pF is picofarads
uF is microfarads

6800 pF = 6800 e–12 farads = 6.8 e–9 farads
since µF = e–6,
6800 pF = 6.8 e–9 farads = 6.8 e–3 µF
BUT this is a strange mixture of prefixes and exponents, and would never be used in practice.
It would be 6800 pF or 6.8 nF

Yes. 6800 pF = 6800x10^-12 f = 6.8 X 10^-3 uF

Hard to show here, as Yahoo! is not formatted for math. I'll have to write it out and post it to Photobucket. Go to my profile and click on the Photobucket link. I'll post the steps in several files.
