Would a black/white dress be okay to wear to a wedding reception the day before season Fall?

Being that September 19th is the wedding reception, and two days before fall, I have choice of two dresses( black trimmed with white) or black white floral. which one should i wear or would look more appropriate?

Either would be appropriate, AS LONG AS the black & white floral is more black than white.

The one rule that still applies to wedding guest attire is that only the bride should be wearing mostly white/ivory/cream. Guests can have some white on their outfits, but they shouldn't be mostly white.

Other than that, and since you haven't shown us any pictures, pick the one that you like best.

I would go with the black and white floral.

The other, if it looks as you described, would seem to have too much white.

I most cases you should avoid wearing white as much as possible.

Forget about the date..........go by the weather. If it's a warm sunny day, go with the black/white floral. If it's cool/cold/cloudy, go with the black trimmed with white.

    Black trimmed in white.

Btw, it is absolutely okay to wear white after labor day/in the fall.

Black and white is classic, and can be worn all year round.
