Do you mean añora?
Añorar means to miss someone, to be homesick, to yearn for the past or the way things used to be.
Interesting how the word añorar contains 'año' and the word yearn contains 'year'. Just a coincidence, though, etymologically.

I believe you are referingto: "Ahora"
Ahora means "Now".

It could be "ahora" = "now"
"añora" = "he/she misses greatly or longs for"
