Where is a good place to go hunting in the Adirondack mountains for bear?

Im going bear hunting for the first time. i live about 5 hours away in New York and just don't know the area up there so i am asking here. I will respond to any questions asked.

If you can get in anywhere near Hamilton County, you'll be good. Don't forget, if you do happen to get one, you got to get that darn thing checked. Oh yeah, do you want to go with an outfitter?
