Hi there all you Jehovah Witnesses! Would you be able to tell me in layman's terms?

what the good news of the Kingdom is that you preach please. Someone has said that you preach based on the scripture at Matthews gospel chapter 24 and verse 14 and also in Matthews same gospel chapter 28 verses 19 and 20.

I am grateful to all of you who take the time to explain to me what the gospel of the kingdom means in a way that someone not very familiar with the Bible can understand! Thanks.

We are all "laymen". There is no clergy class.

We teach based on the entire 66 canonical

books of the bible from Genesis to Revelation.

The "kingdom of God" is the theme of the

    entire bible.

Genesis 3:15 the promise of the seed that would right

the wrongs created by the rebellion of Satan, Adam & Eve.

The Kingdom is an actual government. Daniel 2:44

    with rulers John 18:36 Revelation 14:1-3 5:9,10

    Matthew 6:9,10

I suggest you access www.watchtower.org or speak

in depth to one of Jehovah's Witnesses for more

information. Also, I am sure more of my brothers

& sisters will provide additional information.

NOTE; Jehovah's Witnesses in harmony with the

prophecy recorded at Matthew 24:14 are the ONLY

ones who preach and teach about the good news

    (or gospel) of God's kingdom.

Revelation 19:16 - Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Daniel 2:44 - the Kingdom is part of God's purpose for the eradication of wickedness.

Matthew 3:2 - it is a government located in heaven - called the Kingdom of the heavens.

Matthew 6:10 - the influence of this government will be felt throughout the universe, and especially earth - Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Matthew 5:5 - only the righteous will continue to live forever - Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Revelation 5:9 and 10 - there are associate rulers in this Kingdom who are chosen from the earth to go to heaven.

    Revelation 14:1 - they number 144,000

Revelation 20:4 and 6 - they will be both priests and kings and share with Christ in his Kingdom for 1000 years.

Acts 24:15 - even the dead will be resurrected to live under that new government - God's Kingdom with Christ as King.

Revelation 21:3-5 - the Kingdom will bring peace, paradise, pleasure, progress, and perfection to all mankind and the earth itself.

All of this is surely GOOD NEWS to all mankind.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate holidays nor do they believe in the trinity. The Jehovah's Witnesses go door to door distributing magazines and books of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society and at tempt to solicit interest in bible studies for the purpose of membership.

Everyone else have stated the scriptures so i'll just tell you.

God's Heavenly Government (Kingdom) ruled by Christ Jesus will destroy all of mans governments.( Daniel 2:44)

God's Government or (Kingdom) will remove satan and the Demons.

The Earth that we live on will be without a wicket person (Psalms 37:10,11,29) Only those who choose to live by the Bible will live threw the war between God and man. Then things will be back the way it was before Adam and Eve sinned. Everyone will stand perfect before God. With God as ruler over man.

No more sickness, pain, No one will ever have to die. Adam could have lived forever if he had stayed faithful, and under Gods Kingdom ,that will be true for all people once again.

    GOOD NEWS:

This refers to the good news of the Kingdom of God and of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ. It is called in the Bible “the good news of the kingdom” (Mt 4:23), “the good news of God” (Ro 15:16), “the good news about Jesus Christ” (Mr 1:1), “the good news of the undeserved kindness of God” (Ac 20:24), “the good news of peace” (Eph 6:15), and the “everlasting good news” (Re 14:6).

The Greek word translated “good news” (“gospel” in KJ and some other versions) is eu·ag·ge′li·on. “An evangelizer” (the English word being almost a transliteration of the Greek) is a preacher of the good news.—Ac 21:8; 2Ti 4:5.

Its Content. An idea of the content and scope of the good news can be gained from the above designations. It includes all the truths about which Jesus spoke and the disciples wrote. While men of old hoped in God and had faith through knowledge of Him, God’s purposes were first “made clearly evident through the manifestation of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has abolished death but has shed light upon life and incorruption through the good news.”—2Ti 1:9, 10.

Centuries earlier God had declared the good news to Abraham, thereby indicating the means by which he purposed to provide the good news. He said: “By means of you all the nations will be blessed.” (Ga 3:8) Later, through the prophet Isaiah, Jehovah spoke of the preaching of the good news. Jesus Christ read from this prophecy in the synagogue at Nazareth, afterward saying: “Today this scripture that you just heard is fulfilled.” (Lu 4:16-21) Isaiah’s prophecy described the purpose and effect of the good news to be preached, particularly from the time of Messiah’s coming.—Isa 61:1-3.

    Hi to Frankie below:

(Isaiah 65:17) “For here I am creating new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart.

The new earth refers to this earth after Armageddon that will be cleansed of all wickedness, immorality and violence as opposed to this earth today which is filled with wickedness, immorality and violence.

Yes the kingdom of God will rule over the new earth [not literally new planet] Because Satan is the ruler of this earth before Armageddon (2 Corinthians 4:4)

This Earth will never be destroyed or replaced.

(Psalm 104:5) He has founded the earth upon its established places; It will not be made to totter to time indefinite, or forever.

The new heavens: Heaven is cleansed, Satan is cast down to the earth (Rev 12:9) and Christ is now ruling from heaven. The old heavens: Where the wicked were in heaven. (Job 1:6) So Satan and his demons can no longer enter into the heavenly realm so the heavens are cleansed. A new heaven.

Layman's terms, Gen 3:15 ) And I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel

This is the first Bible prophecy, everything we see in the scriptures show us how this prophecy is to be fulfilled.

Satan the father of the lie tries to confuse(2 Co 4:4) all of mankind, Satan is the God of this system of things(1 John 5:19)

    The Hebrew scriptures is a guide to how this seed that will crush Satan in the head comes about, the woman is God organization, this seed is from Gods organization, this seed is Jesus. At Dan 2:44 it says) “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;

Jesus is the King & this is the kingdom we preach from door to door.

In the Hebrew scriptures what this kingdom will be like is told to us by different Prophets, in Isa the 11th;25th;35th;45th;55th;& 65th all have passages that show how things are going to be, there are many more like Psalms 37:10,11,29;110:1 & the 12 miner prophets right before the Book of Matt. If you care to see this you can go to www.watchtower.org.

The Christian Greek scriptures, Jesus shows us how this will be done, to quote scriptures of this isn't hard, Matt-Revelation shows this. Rev 21:1-4 says a new heavens & a new earth, this is in same context as a new personality, the person does not die, they change, just as this earth does not explode, it changes, just as the heaven can't be done away with, it changes, Satan is kicked out, this is why Jesus told us to make Holy Gods name & to pray that this kingdom that's now in the heavens(ruler is Jesus), comes to this earth(becomes a new earth)

2 Tim 4:2 is another scripture that tells us to preach, & be at it diligently. Right after Armageddon & during the 1000 year reign, this kingdom offers us the hope of seeing our loved ones that have fallen asleep in death(John 5:28,29;Acts 24:15), death will be no more(Rev 21:3,4). In Revelation we are told of a King(Jesus) that rides a white horse that has a sword & he separates the sheep(meek) from the goats(stubborn), that separating work is going on right now, this is why the Jehovah's Witnesses are going from door to door, we are in over 235 land, we publish literature in over 450 languages.

The scriptures tell us to search for Jehovah while he may be found, for there will come a time in the not to distance future just as it was in Noah day that Jehovah sealed the doors so that only eight souls were saved. Noah was a preacher of righteous for 120 years, no one but his family listen. Today there is a preaching work going on(Matt 24:14), we are making disciples(Matt 28:19,20), it is a urgent work(2 Tim 4:2) much in the same way during Noah's time.

There is much more, I tried to put this in layman's terms, simply put, Jehovah is going to have this earth inhabited by perfect humans that worship him in spirit & truth, just the way it was going to be before that evil angel we now call Satan caused man to sin and die.

The Good News is that is it coming soon.

A New Heavens (Government from GOD and not corrupt or inadequate)

A NEW Earth ( The subjects WANT the NEW Government from God, and a cleansed Earth)

Since the Earth stands to time indefinite even forever, and meant to be inhabited. Ecces 1:3-11

The ones that don't want to be there, or worship God will only fall asleep in death.

Hell is death, or grave, or as Jesus put it... "sleeping"

There speaks of some being bought from the Earth

Revelation puts this number at 144,000 that were bought from

the Earth, that fed Jesus sheep while he was gone, and that work

along with him. They will be Kings and Priests and this will be there reward that they are in heaven ruling with Christ. "Christs brothers"

People that died and didn't get a chance to know Jehovah or worship him, or were stopped or lied to and didn't get a decent chance at a good idea of this, will be resurrected to get a second chance to serve God. In perfection without being lied to.

So everything will be cleaned up and back to it's original purpose.

It's like if you started a project, and someone vandalized it, and told lies about you, got it all off track....

And then time came to clean it all up, and get rid of the vandal forever.

    Clear up those lies.

Paradise restored. Justice and righteousness resumed.

The perpetrator gone. And so is his followers.

    GONE.

That is the good news. No burning in hell forever for not understanding or accepting the trinity. No everyone flying up to heaven to do.... what they did on this Earth? fly around eating philadelphia cream cheese, play golf with Jesus or.... play harps..

    Simple. Honest.. Real.

    Isaiah 65-67

    Isaiah 37 (Earth Conditions)

    Old testiment.

    (New Testament) Heavenly Conditions

Specifically Jesus Earth Words. ( the meek shall inherit the Earth)

And eventually when it is all done. Then death and pain are hurled into that "lake of fire"

    And the Earth is restored.

Basically, that the wicked world you see today was not intended to be, and soon through the efforts of Jesus Christ, Jehovah will have all of man's rule authority and government destroyed and the Kingdom of God will bring everlasting life and peace, perfect health and well being to mankind.

    English Standard Version:

1Co 15:24 Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power.

1Co 15:25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

1Co 15:26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

Dan 2:44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,
