Why are Americans lives being put in constant danger Illegal immigrant blamed for serious crash?

UPPER DEERFIELD TWP. -- An unlicensed, illegal immigrant seriously injured an Atlantic County woman when she crashed her SUV into the woman's car after running a red light at Irving Avenue and South Woodruff Road on Wednesday, according to state police.

State police based at Bridgeton barracks released additional details on the crash this evening.

Yelena Yakhnovskaya, 35, of Buena Vista Township, was traveling east on Irving Avenue in a black 2005 Hyundai Elantra.

A red 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Julia Hernandez-Gonzalez, 23, of Bridgeton, was heading south on Woodruff Road.

A state police investigation revealed Hernandez-Gonzalez failed to stop for a red light at the intersection, causing her to drive the Ford SUV into the driver's side of the Hyundai, Sgt. Gary Catts said today.

The accident occurred at about 4:08 p.m. Wednesday.

Yakhnovskaya sustained serious head trauma and was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital, Camden, where she remains listed in critical condition.

Hernandez-Gonzalez was transported to South Jersey Healthcare-Regional Medical Center, in Vineland, for treatment. She is charged under "Christopher's Law" due to the fact that she was unlicensed when she caused serious bodily injury to another motorist.

Bail was set against Hernandez-Gonzalez at $15,000. She is being held at Cumberland County Jail without bail, however, on a detainer issued by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to Catts.

Two female passengers were traveling with Hernandez-Gonzalez, state police said. Their names and injury statuses were not released.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage in the crash.

Yakhnovskaya was trapped in the Hyundai and had to be extricated by fire and rescue personnel.

In addition to state police, Cumberland County Fire Police and Upper Deerfield and Rosenhayn fire and EMS personnel also responded to the crash scene

Gringa just doesn't understand. Neither does Congress, and Congress could get the figures in minutes from the Congressional Research Division, or the Library of Congress.

Illegal aliens have the highest crime rate in the United States. It is way up there. Europeans, who are the majority, have the lowest. Down in Mexico, Europeans are always welcome because they don't have a crime rate down in Mexico at all.

Further, in this country, the statistics are that the illegal aliens kill six European Americans in commission of a crime with a weapon. American Europeans kill one illegal aliens in return. So it is very, very dangerous to live near a group of illegal aliens. Way to many of them have criminal records back in Mexico.

Uh, and you know their intention is to stay beyond their life-span HOW? I think that people who come here to work, and are working, should be able to do so legally. If it were legal to come here and work, there wouldn't be a problem. For all who wonder why we've been talking about illegal immigration for decades, but it's never enforced -- the reason it's not enforced is the business-owners who profit from illegal labor are the ones who convince the goverment to not enforce the laws, pleading they'd be put out of business. Besides, we'd not be able to afford to eat more than a couple of times a week were it not for the cheap labor that produces most of our food.

I do not know but this is not fair to the America public to have our lives put in danger by persons who are not even suppose to be here. If this illegal needed to go some where there is public transportation and there is taxi's and/or she could have walked to where she needed to be. Yakhnovskaya sustained serious head trauma and was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital, Camden, where she remains listed in critical condition.

At this point this womans life will never be the same.Head injuries about guarantee you will suffer a life time of impairments..This is an example of an America life that has forever changed and she will have endure all medical bills well into the thousands upon thousands of dollars and well into the future.ICU is by no means cheap. The illegal has no insurance and the American cannot recoup her expenses or nor can she sue,she will have to endure all medical expenses

We are being invaded and our government is doing nothing to protect citizens from the crimes these illegal aliens are committing. The plain fact is, if these illegals were not present where they do not belong, these citizens lives would not be put in danger or be taken. Over 25 deaths of citizens daily at the hands of illegal aliens who should not be present is 25 too many.

I definitely get what you are saying, but this is news because????? Because this woman is illegal? Had she been legal, you probably would have never known about this accident. This just goes to prove that the media streamlines and has biased and stereotypical views and knows that it can persuade the audience with their narrow-minded views.
