Resistive vs capacitive touch screen?
what is the difference between the two touch screens on a phone and why do people tend to hate resistive

Capacitive screens are used on phones such as the Apple iPhone and HTC's android phones. Whereas resistive screens are used primarily by Nokia's smartphones and a few LG phones. The main difference is that capacitive screens are more reactive to your touch versus reactive screens which require you to depress the screen quite a bit for it to recognize your input. Most reactive screen phones also provide some vibrational feedback to announce to the user that the input was recognized. I've used both and must say that resistive phones can be quite frustrating without the use of a stylus type input device.
