Red bud tree? They will not flower in deep shade. they will flower in partial shade butnot profusely. We had a dogwood that got a few hrs of sun every day but only had 4 blossoms (sic). We planted another in full sun, and it has lots of blossoms.

Lots of trees supposedly flower in "shade" (like dogwoods)but they really do better full sun.

So the answer to your question is, probably not satisfactorily.

Redbud trees are actually a tree of the understory so yes, they will bloom in shade. If it is really deep, dark shade, you probably won't have much success.
