I need help getting an SCFM value from an ACFM.?


Volume flow rate = 6.0 x 10^6 ft^3/hr (fuel CH4) ---> 1.0 x 10^5 ft^3/min. [produces CO2 & H20]

    You need the actual pressure and temperature of the gas involved. State them in absolute terms and use the ideal gas law to convert them to standard conditions which are 14.7 psia and 60 degs F (or 520 degs absolute)

    What are the actual flowing conditions (the flowing pressure and temperature)? This information will be needed to convert the flow to standard conditions.

    Is the methane/natural gas what you want at standard conditions? The second flow I find a bit confusing.
