Poem...Just another stupid song, for another stupid girl....?

Question

We swing on trees together in one motion,

Trying to hold onto the memories that kept us together,

but it's all to clear now everything we worked for,

Is falling apart and will never relight the fire that was once there,

But it's ok I guess that's what we will both say,

But as certain as after night comes day,

We will both be missing a piece from our hearts,

Be it true or not you will hate to see us apart,

but it's the only way and I guess we both now know,

That even the strongest can slowly become the weak,

Sing it with me and go

La La LA

Sing this song that cures all broken hearts,

Sing it sweetly but keep it in key...please.

The entire poem/song is so sweet but that ^^ last line gives it a bit of bite. Very good!
