Explain how morals became part of political ideology?

OK well honestly I think this is a trick question beczause morals have never been part of political ideology except to corrupt the politician. As long as there are lobbyists large campaign contributions to politicians and political favors, morals has not become the positive but a negative called corruption in the political scene.

Do you think I am right on this one. What do you say? I think it's a trick question really lol

All political ideology is based on morals. The difference is there is disagreement on what people belief is moral. In this country, the 'liberals' base right and wrong on compassion. The 'conservatives' base their morality on whatever the authority figure they happen to subscribe to tells them is right or wrong.
